To help avoid “squishing” your frame rails, Boss Frog now offers these Lift Points to help protect your rails. Simply position the Lift Points over your frame rails before jacking or supporting your car, then remove after your project is complete. Durable black powdercoat finish.

• Portability – the EZcarlift folds up to about 4” thick, and can stand up against the wall of your garage. It can also be broken down into 4 pieces with just a few bolts, and can then be transported in your trunk and used at the track or a friend’s house.
• Access – while a scissors lift obstructs much of the area under the car, the EZcarlift is similar to four jackstands. • Easy to Use – slides under the car on rollers, and raises using a corded drill. • Fast – the lift can be positioned and raised to full height in less than two minutes. • Strong – while you will not be able to work on your full-size truck or SUV, it will handle cars up to 4,400 lbs. The Ezcarlift system uses a pair of cross spacers to determine the width of the rails. For Miatas, you can lift at the outside body of the car at the normal jacking points, or directly on the formed unibody rails further in. The choice really depends on your car - if you have side skirts you might want to stay with the narrower lift width, while the wider lift works better for stock cars. Specify a 40" cross spacer for lifting on the unibody rails, or a 64" cross spacer for the normal jacking points.
a high torque corded drill is required – I bought this one for about $30
